Abstract

BARRERA, Sylvia Domingos. Using games in psychopedagogical context. Rev. psicopedag. [online]. 2020, vol.37, n.112, pp. 64-73. ISSN 0103-8486.  http://dx.doi.org/10.5935/0103-8486.20200004.

Although gaming is a widely used feature in psychopedagogical intervention, its use often occurs without a proper understanding of the factors that justify its use and without a more careful consideration of the role of gaming in the psychopedagogical context, as well as of how games must be chosen and worked. The purpose of this article is to recover the dimensions and functions of the games in the child development, educational and clinical-psychological contexts, culminating with the analysis of their possibilities in the psychopedagogical context. It is hoped to contribute to a more conscious and effective use of games in dealing with complaints of learning difficulties.
