Abstract

BATISTA, Mitlene Kaline Bernardo; QUIRINO, Túlio Romério Lopes  and  SILVA, Maria Vanessa da. Violence against children in primary health care: a matrix support proposal. Mudanças [online]. 2020, vol.28, n.2, pp. 35-42. ISSN 0104-3269.

The article aims to debate a proposal for enrollment on the theme "Violence against Children" aimed at professionals of the Family Health Strategy (ESF), as a way of preventing and building coping strategies. Method: this is an experience report. As the northern axis of the intervention, thematic workshops were held with professionals from three ESF teams, in the municipality of Jaboatão dos Guararapes, Pernambuco. Results: two dimensions are highlighted for the appreciation of the experience: a first consideration of the effects of the proposed intervention, highlighting its resonances and possibilities of transformation in the teams; the second reflection as difficulties faced, specify as limitations and challenges. Conclusion: most professionals feel unprepared to deal with the violence present in the territory. It is necessary that educational initiatives, as a proposal, be developed on the theme, allow the qualification of the teams. We point out the use of workshops as a strategic tool for Matrix Support.
