Abstract
PEREIRA, Arthur Henrique and PEREIRA, Ondina Pena. Psychodrama in the contemporary world: a collective and political affair. Rev. bras. psicodrama [online]. 2009, vol.17, n.2, pp. 33-48. ISSN 2318-0498.
The objective of this paper is to establish a relationship between the way of life of our contemporary world - characterised by the presence of technological refinements, the deterioration of collective and public relationships, and the excessive individualization of the human being resulting in the appearance of privatized subjectivities - and the scene of psychotherapy, with its potentials and limitations in resolving the psychological suffering generated within this context. Based on Moreno's concept of the cultural conserve, and the links between Moreno's views, Castoriadis's concept of instituent imaginary and Deluze's concept of de-territorialised fluxes of desire, the authors deliberate the possibility of psychodrama being a collective and political space that can redeem subjectivity.
Keywords : Contemporaneity; privatized subjectivity; psychotherapy; instituent imaginary; de-territorialised fluxes of desire.
