Abstract

BORGONOVI, Ana Carolina; GARCIA, Ana Cristina Rosa  and  PARRO, Cynthia Maria. Socionomy and Selection in a financial organization. Rev. bras. psicodrama [online]. 2013, vol.21, n.1, pp. 11-23. ISSN 2318-0498.

The objective of this paper is to present a case study of a selection process carried out in a financial organization, in which socionomic techniques and methods were used. In this process we worked with the professional role and the power relations that permeate it. Beyond diagnosing the relationships within organizational processes, this has also allowed to re-consider and re-create institutional roles in a creative and spontaneous way. Playful individual and group activities were applied in the selection process, also focusing on the professional role. Approaching selection from this angle doesn't only identify the right people for the right positions, but it also engenders institutional changes, enabling to re-create and re-define professional roles as well as the diagnosis of organizational processes.

Keywords : Socionomy; Group; Power relations; Selection; Institutional role.
