This article presents a study carried out in a psychotherapy group with cancer patients and their caregivers, focusing on the use of psychodrama in these sessions. It explores the interrelationships between cancer, psycho-oncology, psychodrama and J. L. Moreno's understanding of groups. This study investigates the effects of the use of psychodrama, in light of the methodological theory of treatment; its relevance consists in providing such contributions. Case studies were used as research methodology.
