The aim of this text is to present the theoretical basis for the Life Stories method, based on the Clinical Psychosociology approach. The concepts of this method are presented, such as Life Stories, Clinical Approach and Historic authenticity. The academic elements of this method are presented as well as professional intervention. Understanding this method avoids blaming people for their choices, and gives the opportunity of recognizing the influence thatindividuals have on society.
