The discussion about transference in Psychodrama, despite what has been done by Moreno and some other authors in Brazil is still developing and demonstrates a lack of refinement, especially one that is not only cited as deficiency within the telic relationship. With the aim of investigating the approach to transference in psychodramatic literature, this article presents brief considerations around the aspects related to the theme. In this work, through a bibliographic research review, it could be seen that transference held a secondary position in Psychodrama, practically and theoretically, however, that did not stop it from being part of the psychodramatic scene, even with its idiosyncrasies: on the one hand, an element of repetition, automated and ambiguous; on the other, a catalyst of the psychotherapeutic process.
