This study, with twelve participants of older people's groups of Criciúma (SC), emphasizes recreational activities in these spaces and older people's spontaneity. The methodology was the non-participant directed observation - logbook and semistructured interview - and the analysis, based on Psychodrama and Environmental Psychology, focused on spontaneity. The results show that the participants of these activities redeem and reframe their spontaneity, through the freedom of expression, social interaction and contact with their essence.
