The purpose of this study is to analyse an experience of teacher education in the health sector, using the psychodrama dramatization in Teaching-Learning Process of the Teaching Programme in Health Sciences. The aim of all this was to understand some relevant aspects to the teaching role development, as well as to explore the role of drama as a methodological resource in the educational process. The three-hour intervention was filmed and transcribed for later thematic analysis. The psychodrama-oriented dramatization revealed to be a valuable teaching-learning strategy in the teacher training programmes, in the context of the inductive current policies on the training for health professionals, promoting the construction of knowledge and overcoming the transmissive model of knowledge acquisition.
