This article aimed to identify the significations attributed to idleness based on psychodramatic workshops together with the team of the Association of Volunteers of Hospital São José. The emerging needs of organizational and personal behaviors were performed in various expressions of participants: in playing, delivering, listening to oneself and the other, searching the reconciliation of individual and organizational needs avoiding the dichotomy and scouring the integration movement aligned with a period that acts in truth and in presence. The bibliographic research and case study focused on the qualitative analysis showing the richness of the group process. The results show that the psychodramatic methodology has promoted the signification of idleness in a creative dimension supporting the pedagogy of idleness.
