This article aims to report the experience of psychology course internship in a general hospital in the Northwest region of Rio Grande do Sul. The practice was based on the Psychodrama Theory of Jacob Levy Moreno and the use of Psychodrama techniques. The report aims to understand the experience of hospitalization and present the perceptions about the benefits of psychological support with a psychodramatic approach to patients, as well as the importance of welcoming their relatives.
