Abstract

CARVALHO, Maria Dulce Santiago de. From the appointment with oneself to the meeting with your patient: psychodrama in medical training. Rev. bras. psicodrama [online]. 2018, vol.26, n.2, pp. 72-83. ISSN 2318-0498.  http://dx.doi.org/10.15329/2318-0498.20180028.

This article aims at describing the use of psychodramatic methodologies in Medicine course, consolidating theoretical knowledge and developing abilities and competences, based on the Appointment and the Caring relationship between the future doctor and patients. The results demonstrate that psychodrama in medical training promotes the development of communication skills and more humanised attitudes, in which a better recognition stems from a more spontaneous role taken by the doctor in relation to the patient.

Keywords : psychodrama; role playing; patient-doctor relation; medical education; professional identity.
