Abstract

MARTINS, Jasson da Silva  and  LEAO, Jacqueline Oliveira. Heidegger and van Gogh: reflections on philosophy and art. Barbaroi [online]. 2010, n.33, pp. 104-117. ISSN 0104-6578.

The essay studied here, The origin of the work of art, wants to be a contact with the Heidegger's philosophy through the image that the work of art produces in each spectator. It wants to show/hide, the origin of the work of art and the end it aims. We try to think about the relation between the work of art and the lived world, and also to show the necessity of the different forms of truth revelation through art and philosophy. Finally, we wish to bring the daily life, from the work of art, The shoes, of Vincent van Gogh, the truth that ends on mystery

Keywords : Philosophy; Art; Aesthetics; Truth.
