Abstract

This article is the result of an intervention conducted in a Psychosocial Care Center Children and youth in a city in the central region of Rio Grande do Sul, in the university extension project "Children's Story Therapy Workshop in CAPS." For this purpose, focuses on the construction of stories as a privileged instrument in the workshop child therapy. The theoretical-methodological used refer to the contributions of psychoanalysis to the mental health field. Changes were identified in the symbolization and socialization of children who attended the workshop, in addition to establishing the therapeutic relationship between the group members.
