CAVALHIERI, Klaus Eickhoff  e  KRAWULSKI, Edite. Adaptation process of a job satisfaction scale to the context of junior enterprises: preliminary results. Barbaroi [online]. 2013, n.39, pp. 164-191. ISSN 0104-6578.

Job satisfaction is an important factor in any relationship between the worker and the organization, and is measured by different instruments on several types of organizations. In the context of junior enterprises this construct is also present and liable of measurement, as long as the peculiarities of this context are taken in consideration. This exploratory study describes the initial steps on adapting a Scale of Job Satisfaction (EST) to the organizational context of junior enterprises (ESTJr), as well as a pilot application of this newly developed scale. The adapted scale encompassed three dimensions that could indicate job satisfaction: work organization, work conditions and work relations. The scale's items were adapted aiming to achieve its applicability on the differentiated context of junior enterprises. The results obtained from the pilot study, even thou preliminary and not characterizing a formal process of validation of the scale, indicate that the ESTJr is applicable to the context of junior enterprises, showing that the dimensions and items contemplated on the scale may measure the job satisfaction of junior enterprises, analogous to the EST on the context of senior organizations.
