Abstract

PAKMAN, Marcelo. Sense and consciousness in a clinical work of truth. Nova perspect. sist. [online]. 2016, vol.25, n.56, pp. 76-93. ISSN 0104-7841.

Reading Jean-Paul Sartre's conception of an intentional, transcendent, non-reflective consciousness together with Jean-Luc Nancy concept of sense a contribution to the author's critical-poetic position in psychotherapy is made. Apropos de clinical characterization of perceptions, fictions and hallucinations and a clinical case in which the distinction among them remains elusive, a clinical work on truth is presented, not reducible as a return to either materialist or idealist readings of Descartes but legitimized as appropriate to recover the singularity of vivid experience that proved elusive for both scientific empiricisms and linguistic turn adopted positions in clinical work.

Keywords : hallucinations; sense; consciousness; truth; ethics.
