Abstract

BITTENCOURT, Isabella Goulart  and  BOING, Elisangela. Contributions of Systemic Thinking, Gestalt Therapy and psychology practices to work in a CAPSI. Nova perspect. sist. [online]. 2017, vol.26, n.57, pp. 53-68. ISSN 0104-7841.

The “Psychosocial Care Centers” (CAPS) are fundamental for the Psychiatric Reform process, because they have as one of the purposes, from the SUS perspective, to redirect the mental health care model. Based on the need for specialized care for children, adolescents and their families, the Psychosocial Care Center for Childhood and Adolescence (CAPSi) was created. In this article, we seek to reflect, based on Systemic Thinking and Gestalt therapy, about the specific actions of Psychology and interdisciplinary actions from the experience of curricular internship in a CAPSi of the southern region of Brazil and to indicate how such actions relate principles and guidelines of SUS. We discussed the work of the interdisciplinary team and its importance for the integral care of the subject, besides presenting questions about Systemic Thinking, Gestalt therapy, psychological evaluation and psychotherapy and the contribution of these theories and practices to the communication, interaction and relationship of the team and for networking. Therefore, the theories cited can contribute not only to the specific practices of the profession, but also to the quality of interdisciplinary and intersectoral actions.

Keywords : psychosocial care center (CAPS); systemic epistemology; gestalt therapy; mental health; SUS; communication theory.
