Abstract

Frequently in our private practices, we meet with clients who seek therapy with themes related to sexual practices, sexuality and genre. Weve developed with these clients dialogues about de meaning that accompany these issues, exploring and enriching knowledge, favoring transformation of ways of relating with the phenomenon and the coherence of problematics. In this article, we would like to invite to dialogue some voices that participate in the meaning making of sexual encounter, since ancient and rigid traditions, to liberal intelligibilities, and cultural understandings to situated experiences. Then we propose a new way of understanding to sexual encounter, which we named dialogical sex, for its intrinsically associated characteristics with dialogue and the transformations that it generates.
