This article reports the case study of a man who committed violence in a therapeutic process at a Clinic School in Florianópolis. It's objective is to understand the importance of systemic therapy for men who commit violence. A repetition of familiar behavior was noticed, being possible an intergenerational understanding. It was noticed that the perspectives used, allowed to penetrate with more depth to the world the patient lived and its processes of signification in the construction of the narrative of its trajectory. This article hopes to expand possibilities for the care with men authors of violence.
