MATOS, Thaiany Domingues et al. Parental perceptions about coparenting and child behavior: a study with gay e lesbian families. Nova perspect. sist. [online]. 2019, vol.28, n.65, pp. 51-67. ISSN 0104-7841.  http://dx.doi.org/10.38034/nps.v28i65.537.

The various parental configurations of contemporaneity bring questions still little addressed in research in Brazil. This paper presents a multiple case study on the parental perceptions of homosexual couples about their coparental relationship and their children's behavior through the application of questionnaires on the subject in the form of interviews to enrich the answers. Four couples with children between 6 and 8 years old were interviewed. The results allowed the identification of high rates of positive coparenting presented by interviewed fathers and mothers with identification of children's behavioral difficulties, but also of capacities through the report of high rates of child prosociability.

Keywords : Homoparenting; Coparenting; Child behavior.
