Abstract

DLVES-SILVA, Junia Denise  and  SCORSOLINI-COMIN, Fabio. Transgenerational transmission of conjugal and family patterns: implications for health care. Nova perspect. sist. [online]. 2021, vol.30, n.70, pp. 77-92. ISSN 0104-7841.  http://dx.doi.org/10.38034/nps.v30i70.570.

ABSTRACT This study aimed to understand the transgenerational transmission of elements between generations of families with a focus on conjugal and family practices. From a narrative review, it is highlighted that the most recent productions on the subject explored the following aspects: the family as a privileged means of transmission; learning educational practices in the family; family influence in the construction of affective bonds and the role of marriage. Families have different ways of transmitting content between generations, reinforcing the idea of the pre-existence of a story transmitted as a family legacy and that intertwines individual development with family development. Considering these elements in health care can be useful for a reflection on the intersubjective aspects that cross the family group and that can be associated with health behaviors, promoting closer, integrated and humanized care.

Keywords : family; family relationships; marriage; family nursing.
