Abstract

The main purpose of this paper is the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the School of Psychology in Rosario National University. The article begins with a presentation of the discipline’s history in Argentina, focusing on Rosario’s particularities. First, it refers to the institutional aspects of this organization. Then, it refers to different social and institutional events that facilitated the foundation of the first school of psychology in the country, in 1955, at the Littoral National University in Rosario, Argentina.
