It is risky to try to tackle an deeper issue as it is meditation, with a very pragmatic model, as is the cognitive-behavioral psychology. However, if the model is correct and flexible enough, and really could be explained by increasing their explanatory power and generation of hypothesis power too, would also enhance its credibility. Doing it again put our heads in the lion's mouth. But Kanfer and Karoly (1972) went alive trough their exploration, which makes it possible to take them as models reinforced by his audacity, and launching again. The work begins with the concept of meditation, the arrival of cognitive-behavioral psychology to meditation, the clinical effects of meditation and future prospects.
