INESTA, Emilio Ribes. On multiple factors involved in extra-situational substitution. Acta comport. [online]. 2013, vol.21, n.2, pp. 259-268. ISSN 0188-8145.

Emergent properties characterizing extra-situational contingency substitutions as a psychological function are analyzed. First is stressed the dyadic and bidirectional nature of the mediating episode. Second, the linguistic relation between mediator and mediated is examined as understanding episode. Finally, a proposal is made for systematic criteria to identify different types of extra-situational contingency substitution as extensions in time and in space, as well as the double-supplementation involved in this function.

Keywords : extra-situational contingency substitution; understanding episode; temporal extension; spatial extension; mediator; mediated.
