The article presents a theoretical position in epistemology and ethics as a result of the development of psychology in Cuba The theoretical foundations are found in Marx and Martí and therefore it is a dialectical psychology. We believe that human psyche is a reflex in the brain of the social wortd. It emerges and develops through the social and historical activity of man. But this psychic reflex has an active and creatíve function of both its own self and of the social environment that surrounds and determines it. We atso believe that psychological science must draw moral goals and aim at the large scale formation of a man spiritually superior in creativity, independence, humanism, patriotism and love for the poors.
