MARQUES, Thaís Helena Thomé. The affective experience with the sensoriality. Rev. bras. psicanál [online]. 2008, vol.42, n.3, pp. 115-128. ISSN 0486-641X.

The article points out both the mind of the analyst interacting with the mind of the analysand as well as the continuous transit, during the psychoanalytical experience, from the sensorial states to the emotional ones and from the emotional states to the sensorial ones. This transit or its obstruction depends basically on the tolerance to the mental pain of separation and the difference between the minds involved in the experience. The author proposes that sometimes the separability and the isolation obtained through the reach of meanings can be felt as unbearable, and in these circumstances the return to the sensoriality, mainly characterized as expression of the gregarious mentality, may become the only condition of sustainment of the sensation of existing. The possible perspective to the maintenance of the analytical activity in these conditions becomes the affective experience with the sensoriality, in order that its representation and later signification be possible. The article’s main proposal is that the sensorial elements not be deSPIsed because they are undistinguishable from delusional states, that are known to propose an engulfing of the experience, but included in the psychoanalytical observation as basis to possible meanings, since with many analysands the sensoriality consists the basic matrix through which, in various moments, the link transits.
