The author, upon a request from RBP editors, narrates his personal experience with the Working Parties which, created in the European Psychoanalysis Federation (FEP) as a proposal for the advancement of the methodology of psychoanalytical investigation, with an eminent clinical basis, are now being implemented in Latin-America, catching the attention of a good number of colleagues. He also presents some reflections on the contextualization of these groups in Latin-American reality and on their possible applications in different areas of psychoanalytic training and practice.
