In order to support the importance of the intersubjective dimension of psychic life - an idea which integrates the existence of an unconscious dimension of subjectivity and permeates the problem of drive and of sexuality - the authorproposes a reflection upon the unquestionable messenger dimension of the drive and of its forms of representation. The concrete consequences of such a conception, as well as the pondering of transference for analytic work, are exemplified through two clinical cases.
