The author weaves a reflection on ethical issues in psychoanalytic publications in the current context. He discusses different aspects related to psychoanalytic writing − genre, style, narrative, fictional dimension and others. The singular nature of research in psychoanalysis, a method and clinical ethics are treated here in their relation to transformation in the field of publications, due to the proliferation of new means of electronic publishing and the regulatory requirements of the major indexes.
