Abstract

This brief essay takes into account transitions which may affect the future man. Climate changes, population growth, increasing dependence on technology, genetic engineering, social evolution are threats reviewed here. Despite losses and sufferings in this current century, we think, as a hopeful conclusion, men will overcome these obstacles, achieving more balance and self-sufficiency.
