Abstract

SADDI, Luciana. What does contemporary subjectivity have to do with novel and very short story?. Rev. bras. psicanál [online]. 2015, vol.49, n.4, pp. 145-154. ISSN 0486-641X.

This paper demonstrates the existence of a strong relationship between Fabio Herrmann's different statements about everyday life, thinking, act, and his idea of fiction as being the analogue of psychoanalysis. Starting from a brief investigation into literary genres and their relations with history and peoples, the author relates modernity, novel and the neurotic, in order to perform an analysis of the very short story, emphasizing its connection with new pathologies and the contemporary subjectivity.

Keywords : fiction; novel; modernity; very short story; new pathologies.
