Is there a relationship between tattoo and symbolization? In order to study this issue, the author has taken into account the following topics: (1) tattooing in the cultural field; (2) in the clinical practice, a situation in which the act of tattooing took place; (3) the closeness between body and artwork, in terms of their defining (set of) features; and (4) the relation between tattooing and symbolic order from the perspective of the reflective body.
