The purpose of this paper is to present the author's experience as a psychoanalyst engaged in the Group Studies and Social and Communal Psychological Care (in Portuguese, Geapsc). Geapsc was conceived in 2001, based on the public demand from people from Rio Preto and surrounding areas, in the countryside of the State of São Paulo. The author discusses the implied psychoanalysis that is applied for the population who does not attend private care. That psychoanalytic listening vitalizes, the author believes, and it is essential to the development and transformation in the field of work. Clinical vignettes demonstrate this kind of work.
