Abstract

BARBIERO, Marcus Vinicius Marques  and  CASTANHO, Pablo. Weaving borders: the inside and the outside in an experience of group therapeutic track. Rev. bras. psicanál [online]. 2018, vol.52, n.1, pp. 180-194. ISSN 0486-641X.

The Psychiatric Reform in Brazil has mobilized deinstitutionalizing processes which have expanded the care experience of people in intense mental suffering. The clinical practice of therapeutic track arises from this context. It expands the psychoanalytic setting and it increases spaces for listening and intervention. In this paper, we shall discuss, through clinical vignettes, an experience of group therapeutic track. The experience takes place in an apparatus called "Exploring São Paulo". The task consists in circulating at public places of the city of São Paulo. The purpose of this paper is to reflect on its impacts in the psychic sheaths of both the group and the individuals who take part in this experience. We observe the intensification of anxieties which are related to the fragility of psychic borders, and the possible ways of taking care of them. We conclude that group therapeutic track may be used as a clinical tool in order to work, first, on the group psychic sheath and, then, on individual psychic sheaths.

Keywords : therapeutic track; apparatus; group psychotherapy; group psychoanalysis; psychiatric reform.
