Abstract

MORI, Maria Elizabeth. A clínica psicanalítica: uma prática políticaPsychoanalytic clinical practice: a political practiceLa clínica psicoanalítica: una práctica políticaLa clinique psychanalytique: une pratique politique. Rev. bras. psicanál [online]. 2018, vol.52, n.3, pp. 91-105. ISSN 0486-641X.

The author proposes a reflection on the psychoanalytic clinical practice as a political practice. When clinical practice carefully deals with subjective and sociopolitical suffering, its purpose is to produce deviations from the established ways of being that cause this malaise. The political crisis, not only in Brazil but in the entire contemporary world, fragments, segregates, and excludes subjects. This crisis leads to turbulent and disruptive emotional states. We are, therefore, called to develop a sensitive listening to Politics and to the new ways of practicing Psychoanalysis, namely the clinical practice of the social issue, the institutional clinical practice, and the clinical practice of ideas.

Keywords : Psychoanalysis; clinical practice; politics.
