Abstract

ACHILLI, Ezequiel. Possible Scenarios for Psychoanalysis (and for the psychoanalyst) in politicsScénarios possibles pour la psychanalyse (et pour le psychanalyste) en politique.Translated byMabel Casakin. Rev. bras. psicanál [online]. 2018, vol.52, n.4, pp. 49-61. ISSN 0486-641X.

What are some of the possible scenarios for both Psychoanalysis and the psychoanalyst in Politics? I. The analyst offers their experience and theoretical corpus in social debates which elaborate further state policies. Margarethe Hilferding, the first member (since 1910), defends the decriminalization of abortion by studying the psychological effects of the pregnancy of an unwanted child. Even after 100 years we, psychoanalysts, have not achieved a debate about the decriminalization of abortion in Argentina. II. The psychoanalyst reflects on Politics and Society. Today, hatred (the social crack; not political, the desubjectivation) seems to be one of the most useful tools of some politicians, and we psychoanalysts sometimes ignore the social pain. III. As Freud stated in 1919, working for a Psychoanalysis of People because neuroses cause, if not more, as much damage as tuberculosis.

Keywords : abortion; aggression; fanatism; homosexuality; malaise; hatred; Politics.
