Abstract

SOARES, Gustavo  and  QUADROS, Valéria. Articulation Movement: thinking about complex ethics. Rev. bras. psicanál [online]. 2018, vol.52, n.4, pp. 193-208. ISSN 0486-641X.

This paper results from the authors' experience of taking part in the Articulation Movement of Brazilian Entities of Psychoanalysis. The authors propose a reflection on the roots of the Movement and which ethical project is the basis for it. To this end, their purpose is to explain what they understand as Ethics, Complex Ethics, and its relation to the attempt to regulate Psychoanalysis. They use Freud's founding writings and the contributions that were brought by the thinkers of complexity in order to postulate that ethics is entangled in the psychoanalytic function of personality. This conception, connected with the “complex object”, triggers new reflections on the future of Psychoanalysis.

Keywords : Articulation Movement; complex ethics; history of psychoanalysis; training in psychoanalysis; regulation of psychoanalysis.
