Abstract

UNIKOWSKI, Débora Regina. In search of desire: psychoanalytic training during the pandemic. Rev. bras. psicanál [online]. 2020, vol.54, n.3, pp. 39-48. ISSN 0486-641X.

ABSTRACT Life itself and the desire to become an analyst were in the spotlight with the arrival of the pandemic. This work aims to describe and reflect on how the Psychoanalytical Society of Rio de Janeiro and, more particularly, the Psychoanalysis Teaching Institute found ways, not only to survive, but also to increase the desire among its members. It was from the strengthening of the institution, valuing the role of the candidates inserted in it that the fourth axis of psychoanalytic training grew in its virtual form. Opening up more space for everyone to search for their desires, which, in the face of the risks of isolation, was in danger of being lost.

Keywords : analytical training; desire; identity; covid-19; fourth axis.
