Abstract

BACCARIN, Maria Inês. Psychoanalysis approach in areas of mental impenetrability. Rev. bras. psicanál [online]. 2021, vol.55, n.3, pp. 123-137. ISSN 0486-641X.

This article is the result of investigations and theoretical-clinical reflections, motivated by experiences in the analysis room, of situations of impasses and crisis within the analytic couple. In such situations, issues related to communication disturbances operating in areas of mental impenetrability stood out. In the construction of a psychoanalytic atelier, the analyst, taking situations of mental impenetrability as a function, and focusing on the movements of the analytic couple, raises factors of this function related to mental states and psychic mechanisms present in the functioning of the analysand, of the analyst and of the interrelationship between both. The identification of the referred factors favors the development of resources towards finding codes of approximation to the referred areas of mental impenetrability. The activities under construction of a psychoanalytic atelier constitute dynamic exercises that favor the fine-tuning of the analytical function, with an emphasis on the development of intuition.

Keywords : psychoanalytic communication; mental states; impenetrability; relationships; psychoanalytic atelier.
