Many have been the efforts throughout the history, for the study and treatment of Epilepsy, which has been categorized generally, as a pahological manifestation of a disease. In this essay , the author pretends to create a theoretical exersise space, destined to think of this admitted "pathology" more like a biological protective function with a certain value. The arguments explained, aim to the fact that Epilepsy is not necessarily a manifestation of death, damage or deterioration of neuronal or cognitive functions.
