Psychology has nourished from an inter-trans-disciplinary debate that has led to its own metatheoretical deconstruction. It is particularly urgent to assess the way educational psychology is practiced within the local context and to determine the foundations that support such practice. Mainly in times when education has been reduced to the psychologization of teaching and learning as key processes. Based on a dialogue of knowledges from an inter-trans-disciplinary perspective, a series of notes are presented in order to think and rethink critically and reflexively the existence of a socio-political pedagogical dialogue between psychology and education in which the participation of social actors becomes crucial for the construction of culturally meaningful practices aimed at potentiating a project of country, citizenship, and democracy.
