Against a vision of prison violence based on the media portrait of blood and death, in which a unique group - the interns or recluses - are protagonist of their own glory and destruction, it is attempted to involve other active agents from this context - Justice Department Guards, Technicians, National Guard agents, besides Interns, Residents and Assigned workers from Communitarian Treatment Centers, in a quest for meaning and rationality of their everyday living inside the prison world, that according to the law has a central aim: the social re-insertion of the recluse. Results, from a quantitative and qualitative perspective lead to share the foucauldian conception of failure of the re-socialization prison as an inherent condition of a privative of freedom prison.
