The main objective of this work is to do a description and analysis of two theories that explain the close relationships in the emotional field. In this case, the theories of Bowlby and Bowen, are analyzed. Both use different theoretical principles, but despite of it, there are a set of similarities and analogies. The analysis and comparison are done based on the advances of the psychology. The differences and the similarities are described and the conclusions are obtained. In order to do more advance in this area a set of investigation proposals are given.
