A chronic-degenerative disease inevitably threatens the functions of the individual and his family. The family has to take very important decisions and sometimes they are difficult. The members of the family will have to reorganize, rethink their expectations, goals and objectives to be adapted to the situation. This means they have to live a process which it emerges as a coping strategy based on hope. Family is fear of what happen and that' why they have to generate higher expectations to reality, until they conform or not to the actual institutional, economic and social conditions.
