The goal of this paper was to analyze the desires about parenthood in homosexual men. Five gay men from the metropolitan zone of Mexico City and Mexico State between 20 and 40 years old participated; in the recollection of data thorough interview was used, their desires as issues regarding about the topic were analyzed. It was found that men thinks they have difficulties in different contexts of their lives, however, all of them felt better when they disclosed their sexual orientation to their family or friends. Nevertheless, they still have concerns about parenthood in the youngest, don´t think they will fulfill their desire of being parents, the oldest feels he could not become parent, nowadays due to the social discrimination against them and their children. The desire of parenthood was not present in all because they are afraid of losing their freedom.
