Compulsive gambling is the addiction to games of luck, where the subject is unable to activate the ability to control himself. A compulsive gamblers life is organized around his addiction, leaving aside any other goal that is not focused on gambling. He therefore lives, thinks and acts based on the games of luck (Becoña, 1995). Previously, gambling was mainly considered a male conduct, nevertheless, different authors have pointed out an increase in the addiction among women during the past few years, a segment that is mainly attracted to the slot machines. Based on the current situation, a case study has been developed about a 56 year old woman, who presents the conducts of a compulsive gambler.
