Abstract

We present a proposal forre-conceptualizing whatis understood as "family,positioned asaprimary social groupin whichmembersare relatedby kinship, whereroll'sand hierarchiesare derived, based on theperformanceof certain functions,made possiblethe formation ofthe individual through meaningful interactionsinto thegroup that permitsthe development ofpsychosocial skills, so thatitcanintegrate into theirculturalsystemand make yourexistence.For this,we start from thepsychologyof groups, we stop atsocionomyprinciples, and explainthe importance ofkinship structuresand family functioning, to understandthe peculiaritieskeepingwith the restof the groups.We concludepointing outthe possibilities providedsocionomicthinkingfor tacklingthese groups.
