Abstract

FREITAS, Sylvia Mara Pires de  and  GUARESCHI, Neuza Maria F.. The plurality of knowledge in the graduation of the psychology professional in the work context. Aletheia [online]. 2004, n.19, pp. 75-88. ISSN 1413-0394.

In this article, we discuss how political issues which have permeated the phases of Industry Psychology, Organizational Psychology and Psychology of Work, contributed to the construction of the theoretical diversity of the sub-area of Psychology in the working context, since these phases today have been interacting in same context, thus, becoming phases of this sub-area. From the more plural, theoretical configuration of Psychology, we also draw attention to how much this theoretical diversity, in relation to this knowledge, interferes in the departmental politics, especially concerning the construction of education plans and consequently in the graduation of professionals.

Keywords : Psychology in the work context; Professional graduation in psychology; Theoretical diversity.
