Abstract

BEIRAS, Adriano; TAGLIAMENTO, Grazielle  and  TONELI, Maria Juracy Filgueiras. Beliefs, values and visions: working with difficulties related to sexuality and gender in the educational context. Aletheia [online]. 2005, n.21, pp. 69-78. ISSN 1413-0394.

Intending to stimulate the reflection on questions referring to sexuality and gender in schools, we did a training program for school teachers of the Maciço do Morro da Cruz Forum at the city of Florianópolis. The program occurred through workshops with the objective of stimulate discussion on themes of interest of the participants, and also work on predicaments confronted by those educators. This process favors the incorporation of what was learned by the subjects on their daily lives, besides promoting learning of a methodology that may be used on the school context. It is suggested for the school to incorporate discussion on those themes, accompanied by a continual process of formation and debate with the educators that act on the school context.
