MARTINEZ-LUGO, Miguel E.. Workplace mobbing: the experience in Puerto Rico. Aletheia [online]. 2006, n.24, pp. 21-33. ISSN 1413-0394.

This article documents the existence of workplace mobbing in organizational contexts in Puerto Rico. Data was collected in four studies with a total sample of 1039 research participants that worked in public and private organizations. Results showed that 12.5% of the sample identified themselves as victims of workplace mobbing. In the majority of cases victims are women and employees of the public sector. Supervisors were identified as the main perpetrators of mobbing actions. Victims informed physical, psychological, and social consequences to the mobbing experience.
